Can this control be used locally only?

Hi, guys (and ladies):

Can Remote Filepicker be limited to the client's machine? I don't need it to touch the server, in fact, if it can be limited to local drives only, that'd be wonderful.

I know that kind of removes the "Remote" aspect of Remote Filepicker, but otherwise I need to extend the FileUpload control, or add a Winapp component to a Web App. The other features I need (directories only, wildcard multi-selection) are already taken care of.

Hey John,

well it can be done by using .NET remoting only localy, i.e. have the server and client on the same machine.
It sounds like you want to use the control in a webapp: This is not possible because this is a UserControl for .NET-applications, not ASP.NET.
